About
I am a systems analyst and designer. Whether the system in question is a dewalt drill, a solar hot water installation, an automobile, or a database, it is my pleasure in life to disassemble, anaylyze, modify, fix and reassemble systems of all types. I have worked as a furniture and musical instrument designer and builder, a solar thermal/pv installer, an information systems designer and database administrator, and with a variety of other design projects.
And I am always looking for new shenanigans to distract myself with which hopefully, in the interest of good permaculture, also functionally improve the quality of life for my community and my world.
If you are interested in collaborating with me or dreaming up some fun projects, please email me at

Ana,
You sound pretty cool. I too studied SDHW and I currently do Home Performance. I trust you are familiar with Northface inst. in Atlanta? Musical Instruments are like fine woodworking which is what I would be doing if there were not so many other more pressing concerns in this day and age. What are you now involved in?
Regards,
Brad McConnell
