About
I am a 23-year journalist from Memphis, TN. I moved to Alaska for good in May, 2007 and have since realized more than ever the importance of being stewards of the land we live on.
It's hard not to when you live in such a beautiful place, and it's even harder when you see that place raped and pilaged daily for it's natural, non-renewable resources when it has so many renewable ones to offer.
In an effort to take a more active role in becoming part of a more sustainable community and state, I have started Anarchy In the AK. At present, it's just a blog documenting the small steps I take and the issues of importance going on in the commnity around me. In the future, who knows?
