About
I have been studying and practicing permaculture here in Prescott, Arizona since 1996, teaching at Prescott College since 2001 and the Ecosa Institute since 2003. I had my own landscape business deigning and installing dense urban-homesteads here since 2001 as well, and now work in a landscape architecture office designing residential and commercial properties throughout the region. I am a founding member of Prescott's "Ecohood", a neighborhood sustainability initiative here.
I recently took Darren Dougherty's Keyline Design workshop in Tucson (November 2007), and I am on fire about it! I had been introduced to the design system long ago, but it never truly clicked until hearing it from Darren. I want to create a broad acre keyline system, and am itching for the opportunity to do so. So I feel fortunate to find this online group of others with the same interest.
