About
Part-time intellectual, part-time intuitive, full-time strategist
for social evolution, yet laced with compassion and a deep connection
to the communities I am a part of. There are too many Daves already,
so I go by Amarado. It comes from Amador and El Dorado which is my part
of California. I have spent 20 years in this area, recovering from 40
years in LA.
I recently came away from 3 years of being a ZFellow with the Community Technology Foundation, learning and working to equalize access to technology across all social groups. This year, I have been giving presentations to promote Local Sustainability and Global Consciousness in the SIerra Foothills.
Now seems to be the time to promote consciousness of Sacred Activism, which is action rooted in and emanating from your sense of the Sacred.
Long ago, a guru taught me these priorities: Be… Do… Have… (for example…Be a Sacred Being, Do socially redeeming activities, Have a just and sustainable society)
If you believe this model can work, I invite you to join in planning some grass-roots political dialog. Think mom-n-pop shop politics rather than Big Box Superstore politics.
