The Global Summit

The way I've come to this point in my life is so amazing!

I have no background in sustainable agriculture and up until 3 years ago I had no clue of anything called permaculture. Since then I have taken a permaculture course and a teaching course so I can be able to share my knowledge effectively with others. During the past 3 years I've worked for a Food and Trees for Africa which is the National Greening NGO in South Africa which has planted over 2 million trees in South Afrca, mostly in rural areas. They work very closey with corporates and are currently greening urban areas in South Africa.

Straight after that I worked for a Solar company  based in Cape Town and have since moved there permanently. These days I can be found frolicking in the garden with my 8 month old beautiful baby and figuring out the best spot for my worm farm. My future plans are to return to the land on my ancesters and create a food forest while conserving the indigenous vegetation. My property is set in a spectacular valley directly in front of the river and because it is Natal and the climate allows us to grow basically anything here, I figure the local Chief gave me a very good deal.

We have big plans for this space and we want to create harmonious human settlements and we dream of it becoming a haven for people around the world to come and visit and share this wonderful space with us(in music, dance, food, laughter and much more) To just enjoy being human together. So all are welcome.
