About
Salutations!
My name is Ian and I am in love with life. Twenty years young, active in the sustainable culture of Santa Rosa (my base of operations) through grant and proposal wrtiting as well as providing administrative services (community outreach, project planning, paperwork filing, and just about anything else!). Starting a non-profit with some friends that is going to be centered around community networking, re-establishing and preserving native ecosystems and providing an educational resource about sustainable living and setting up infrastructure for sustainable systems (they have high up front costs ya' know). Business Administration and Sustainable Agriculture major at the JC, with my eye on Berkeleys Hass School of Business as my transfer four-year university, I wonder if I'll ever get my degree though...
In the meantime I spend my waking hours working with several non-profits (Community Service Learning Connections, Free Mind Media, Thanksgiving Lutheren Church), small businesses (Wild Rose Ranch), and institutions of higher education (Santa Rosa Junior College and it's 365 acre sustainable Shone Farm) doing proposal, grant and community outreach for them. Im working pro-bono now, but by January of next year I will have started my limited liability consulting corporation dedicated to providing my services to companies, small businesses, institutions, individuals and organizaitons on a sliding scale (poor people need love too).
My "day job" in addition to full time student, is at the Zero Air Pollution (ZAP!) Motors world headquarters on 4th street in Santa Rosa where I create and manage information databases. Yes, my life is awesome, I told you I was in love with it, no? Very interested in Law (Corporate, Common, Non-profit) , Business (ethics, sustainable models, social entrepreneurship), Energy (WIND!!!, WATER!!!, SOLAR!!!, ALTERNATIVE FUELS!!!), Animal Husbandry (Alpaca, beekeeping) and a bunch of other fun stuff. If I could be anything when I grew up i think I would be a...Pro-bono lawyer, Social Entrepreneur / Venture Capitalist, Farmer, Astronaut, Philosopher King.
So much life left to live and the clock is ticking, so I have to go, but if you have a vision, I have the skill sets needed to do fundraising, administrative stuffs, interaction with beurocracy and local government, all the stuff people normally hate tickles me pink.
I am god and so are you
together we are too,
making us one
