About

Med_bckyaksmall

Hey everyone and welcome to my little piece of Wiser earth.

I am currently graduating from Bowling Green State University, in Ohio. I majored in Environmental Policy and Analysis, but I have taken ecology, biology, natural area interpretation and many other courses such as technical writing, interpersonal communications, outdoor recreation, art, literature and many more.

I currently volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, Nature's Nursery. I also spend some time volunteering for the Toledo Metroparks.

I've spent a lot of my time working with animals, (domesticated and wild), but I've also spent time with vernal pool monitoring, biking, hiking and I have even had some burn training (I have yet to go on an actual burn though!).

I was an art student for a time and you may view my artwork here. I do a variety of things from photography to drawings, collages and poetry. I write prose as well, but I have yet to post any of that.

Otherwise, I love music and movies. I consider myself a spiritualist and I am a vegetarian. I love to read, write and draw, but that goes without saying, as does my love for the outdoors. I am very much a traveler, I love it - I am captivated by diversity, culture, and just life in general.

Thanks for taking the time to read this :)

A short video I took of our bald eagle at Nature's Nursery. Her name is Migisi.

Sarah,

Sorry. I'm not going to make it into Ohio until the 25th (june). Recent setbacks are multiplying and being delayed, but I do hope to visit can. Saw my first Horseshoe Crab courtship under midnight thunderstorms; sometime around the last new moon.

Don't envy
