About

Hello, network!
How exciting that WISERearth is knitting us together. I grew up in Los Angeles - my first protest was when I was about 14, marching against South African apartheid. Since then I have advocated for more equitable education, transportation, and immigration policy.

I first linked in here through my work with Roots of Change as a Fellow.  I did this as part of my work as an attorney with legendary California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc., advocating with and on behalf of agricultural workers in the areas of employment, housing, education and general access to the range of services and opportunities available.

But last fall my life got even better when my baby boy was born, at home, happy and healthy.  I since moved to a local boutique law firm, where I can focus (nearly) full-time on immigration law.  Though I am not able right now to be as involved as I had been, I am still keeping up with the fight and look forward to diving back in soon, this time with backup!
