About
my name is Patronal Taylor but you can call me Angel, everyone else does. I am 28 years of age and a mother of a beautiful one year old daughter. I was nominated by employers of the Toco Foundation. I am currently a Radio presenter on Radio Toco 106.7 fm the only community station in the nation. On Radio Toco among other things, I prepare and host a programme entitled “Eye on the environment” This is a community based environmental awareness programme which seeks to raise the level of participation in the protection and conservation of the country’s natural resources inclusive of our forest, wildlife and marine life such as the PAWI, the endangered Leatherback Turtle just to name a few.I’m also the supervisor of the Toco Turtle Protection programme; the objective of the programme is to protect and preserve the environment and to encourage the wider population to be aware of the benefits of these activities. I’m also a computer literacy tutor - When I’m not tutoring classes, I utilizes my Information Technology skills to research topics on environmental awareness including turtle protection information, for the development of training modules for the continuous expansion of the Toco Turtle Protection Programme member’s knowledge base as well for my personal edification.I really hope I can inspire not just young women but men as well to embrace our environment and to see the need its long term protection for future generations, like my lovely daughter Cencory to experience. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity once again, to emphasize the need for the sustainability and sensible usage of our natural resources for others to enjoy in years to come. I belive in world peace.
