About
I am a leader in ISAIAH, a non-partisan ecumenical faith-based organization of almost 100
churches in Minnesota (USA), who have banded together around a common vision
that we need to act out of hope, not fear, move from isolation to community, reject this myth of scarcity that there are not enough resources and recognize that God's abundance is sufficient to provide for all of our needs (if not all of our wants), and that we are called to work for a world of greater racial, social and economic justice for all. We are also a Gamaliel Foundation member organization, and I am currently on the Gamaliel Foundation Council of Presidents. We are currently involved in campaigns for transporation and transit
funding, affordable housing (including mandatory inclusionary zoning),
immigration law reform, domestic violence response programs, and
affordable health care for all. We hope to have a transformative agenda for Minnesota in the next year.
I am an independent business man, a self-employed attorney engaged in general practice in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area, who is a certified real property law specialist. I have 30 years experience in the private practice, government service, and corporate practice.
I am also a member of the Sierra Club, the Nature Conservancy, the Minnesota Clean Water Action Fund, Amnesty International, National Geographic Society, Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry, the Walker Art Center, the Schubert Club, and Faith Lilac Way Church (ELCA - Robbinsdale, MN).
