About
Tashanda is a social enterprise founded in February 2006. It is an online retail store which sells art, crafts and other lifestyle products made in Zimbabwe, Africa. The website was founded in a bid to support those at the grass roots levels of society. Tashanda works with artisans, family businesses and established corporations whose social agenda is the same as Tashanda's.
The founder of Tashanda is a young Zimbabwean female based in New York City. It is the company's goal to work on product development and spend more time with producers to help them create products which can compete on an equal footing as the rest of the world, and also remain true to African culture and design.
The company has joined Wiseearth.org for purposes of networking, learning and growing. We are open to offers to partner with for profits and non profits in any capacity. Please contact us on info@tashanda.com or www.tashanda.com.
