My background is in the corporate world - I've worked in sales, marketing and training for 13 years.  I am interested in organizations and businesses that want to bridge the gap between economic well-being and social & environmental justice.  I believe that good citizenship, for businesses and individuals, is grounded in a triple-bottom-line philosophy.   Businesses that incorporate a strong foundation of social and environmental ethics should (and will) lead the new economy.  Some businesses have already started and more will join.  Next we need to tip the market by inspiring conscious consumerism at all levels.   As the market demands higher ethics from business, more businesses will change, and so the cycle will grow.  I want to help in this "movement" and be a voice in any way that I can.   We have wonderful leaders inspiring great thought, action and change.  Van Jones, Paul Hawken and Al Gore are just a few of the many great visionaries offering solutions.  There is still so much work to be done and my goal is to bring what I've learned in the corporate world to this new and growing era of good citizenship!
