THE HAVIDS Centre for Environment & Development is an equal opportunity,multidisciplinary, non profit,non governmental reseach,training,consulting & development organisation poised to preserve the environment,foster peace,enhance education & community development incorporating environmental & reproductive health-HIV/AIDS,poverty alleviation-micro credit & civic education-deliberative democracy/dialogue.
THE HAVIDS are the conveners of the annual "International Forum for Peace in the Niger Delta" since 2002 to proffer solutions to the recurrent issues in Nigeria's Niger Delta region with HARRY AWOLAYEOFORI MACMORRISON as the Executive Director.
