About
Hello,
I am currently studying Building Engineering at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. Promoting sustainability and helping to develop renewable energy has always been one of my dreams and I hope to one day use my engineering background as well as my abilities as a leader to bring about change and hope for the future of our planet.
This year, I was elected to the Concordia Student Union (a.k.a. CSU) Council of Representatives and the CSU’s Sustainability Committee. I am an executive member of CUBES (Concordia University Building Engineering Society) and I am studying to become LEED accredited this November.
I am among 180 college and university students chosen from more than 900 applicants across Canada to attend a one-of-a-kind conference on sustainability leadership this September entitled, Impact! The Co-operators Youth Conference for Sustainability Leadership.
In high school, I helped to organize "Power Day", a one day leadership training event which over 200 students from all schools of the English Montreal School board attended. Furthermore, I am proud to have been a Kids Help Phone Ambassador for over three years where I donated my time to giving presentations that brought awareness to the service. In 2004, I took part in the “International Summit on Children, Poverty and Violence” where I met diplomats from all across the world to discuss and come up with solutions to issues facing children, worldwide, in terms of education.
I look forward to getting connected with similarly minded people,
Our planet deserves better,
