About
What started my thoughts about civil liberties, human rights & social justice was in 1960 (I was 7 y/o) - There was a Black woman I knew who always went to the back of the bus because she said: "that's the way it is... that's what we're supposed to do". And that next year it was another Black man who took so much pride in his yard work, and also taught me about life. The foundation I have for prison reform and the poor was through one of my best friends who had to get food for his family by robbing 7-Eleven's in Miami in the 1960's.
I'm trustworthy and reliable. I've been good and honest at business. I've held responsible positions with various local non-profit organizations. I've helped people with webdesign and hosting, have been an assistant on a radio show. I've done what I could to help those in my sphere of influence, knowing that I cannot change the world by tomorrow.
I trust reason and practice humanism... "believers" don't have an exclusive understanding of morality. I don't comprehend anything supernatural. I try to enjoy my own lot in life, and I smile a lot.
