About

Hi!  I'm glad you stopped in!

I've been involved in the environmental movement for 15 years throughout much the western portion of the United States through community-based conservation, and continue to marvel at the amazing work that's happening throuhgout our world!

In my "free time," I work with an environmental non-profit, Foundation for Sustainable Community, located in Snohomish, WA.  We have a variety of different activities going on from hosting Peace Village and local garden bike tours, starting conversation circles, and hosting our local sustainable energy fair. We are the umbrella group for Green Everett and the home of the Snohomish Permaculture Guild. You can look at the website and calendar to get a feel for what we are up to. www.communitysustainable.org

Working with FSC has widened my perspective to appreciate strong communities as fundamental toward creating a better world, and I have recently begun expanding my interest and passion for nurturing a whole systems approach in my work.

In addition to all that cool stuff, I love working to build community, gardening, making my own wine and cheese, herbalism, eating backyard weeds to keep me healthy, animal tracking, deep conversations, listening to birdsong and hanging out with my lovely wife on warm sunny days.
