About
I'm an urban farmer. I grow salad at a market garden in the heart of London. The salad we grow goes into Growing Communities' organic box scheme. What started out as an apprenticeship has turned into a permanent 'growing' position. And I love it.
This is my blog: http://growingtales.wordpress.com
Growing salad takes up a full-on day's worth of my week. With the rest of my time, I'm setting up a social enterprise to get more people growing food in the city, working on a permaculture project on the edge of London and do some part-time work for the Gaia Foundation which gives me a window onto the global.
