About
SWAle (Sustainable Watersheds Alliance) brings a community voice to public decisions affecting waste water treatment in the San Francisco Bay watershed. Our member organizations represent diverse interests ranging from Bayview residents fighting the noxious smells of centralized sewage treatment to the struggling wildlife of the Pacific Ocean. Using effective advocacy and technical expertise, SWAle ensures that our communities’ interests are present in local government decision-making.Â
SWAle Promotes:
SWAle Promotes:
- environmental justice;
- environmentally sustainable waste water treatment that eliminates sewage overflows and promotes water conservation, reuse and recycling;
- the prevention and clean up of water and soil pollution; and
