About
Silver Spring Interfaith Housing Coalition (SSIHC) works at "ending homelessness one family at a time" in Montgomery County, Maryland. We do this by providing transitional housing with wrap around services that include case management and volunteer mentor accompaniement on the walk from instability to self-sufficiency. We strive to break the cycle of poverty by increasing the earning capacity of our adult residents through job training, and by insuring that the children in our client families are getting the help and services they need to expand their horizons and encourage a love of learning.
