About
The Rushing Rivers Institute (www.rushingrivers.org)is a clearing house for river science with a mission to help secure water resources for the enviroment and future human use. Rushing Rivers provides on-demand applied research to protect and restore rivers, offering engineering solutions, integrating physical and ecological sciences, professional training, and project review services.
The Rushing Rivers Institute grows out of the expertise of Northeast Instream Habitat Program (www.neihp.org), a group of river scientists who developed MesoHABSIM, a unique habitat modeling approach that is used to facilitate sophisticated, science-based management, protection, and restoration of our running waters.
If you are interested in our MesoHABSIM training courses, in becoming an associate, or in learning more about our work, email us at info[at]rushingrivers.org or visit our website.
