 The Value of One
The Value Of One has now sent over 7,000 Letters to our troops !
Our #1 program A seminar teaching youth about overcoming obstacles, Importance of education, leadership, and community building.  At the conclusion students write to the troops overseas and make a positive change in someone's life.
In 2004 my son, serving in the Army, was injured a bombing attack in Iraq. This seminar is not a Pro or Anti war stance. We need to show our support as long as our Troops are overseas.

Over the years we have sent thousands of letters to troops overseas. The responses from students and troops have been unbelievable! Students who won't write in class have been the first to grab a pencil. Some states can count this as a writing assignment or a volunteer hour for mandated programs. The letters are mailed by Teen Dare To Dream at no expense to your school. Many of the participants shared stories and discussed the information with their relatives and peers, indicating the reach of this information went beyond just the participants.

Girl Star Power -Girls Only

This program is real world, hard hitting, and humorous reality check for girls.  Magazines focus on the perfect figure, airbrushed skin, hair and image.
Young girls often compare themselves to unrealistic standards of beauty and success. This often leads to low self confidence and depression in young girls.
Program covers issues including grooming, presenting yourself as a lady, study skills, manners, goal-setting, and time-management skills.

STEP UP - Business Program

Let's face it. Going to a job interview can be an intimidating experience. Many students are so nervous during an interview that they come across as withdrawn, which may translate into lacking self-confidence or lacking interest and enthusiasm for the position.

We take students to a higher level by looking inside the mind of the interviewer. My twenty plus years experience gives them a different and needed view of the interview process. This program is perfect for all Business programs such as FBLA. DCT or Deca.
