About
LANGUAGES:
English and Spanish - Native Speaker
CULTURAL BACKGROUND:
I was raised in a bicultural, bilingual (Spanish-English) home in the United
States and Mexico. I am most comfortable working in a cross-cultural
setting, especially in situations supporting a connection with heritage.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
- At the age of 17, I began an extensive learning process in design, construction, computers and telecommunications.
- At 19, I became a business entrepreneur by recognizing the demand for my services coordinating multiple engineering disciplines collaborating on projects.
- Since 2007, I have been rekindling the flame of profession and spirit, simmering my enjoyment for food, cooking with organic and locally grown products now exuding the aroma of passion.
- Additionally, I have a great interest in Permaculture Design, which continues to reinforce principles instilled from my life in Mexico.
INTENTION:
My purpose is to serve as a role model by participating in processes vital to the benefit of the community. Particularly with youth, hoping to see lasting changes in the capacity to pull together so we may move forward as a society.
