About
My goal is to implement large-scale environmental and social change both locally and globally
I am a graduate of the Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI) 2007 with an MBA in Sustainable Business Practices. I am a recovering Physicist who is very interested in social and economic justice, energy and transportation, and food and local living economies.
I am co-founding a social venture enterprise Water for Humans with fellow BGI graduate Stan Brown.
Water for Humans is a nonprofit social venture enterprise that provides low cost, clean water solutions to the 1.1 billion people in the world who lack clean water. We work with local, social entrepreneurs in watersheds throughout the world to provide local employment and clean water.
I am currently the acting executive Director, and Stan is the Chief of Operations.
I am also a member of the Robin Hood Center consulting group. RHC focuses on the food- agriculture- social justice. We help non profit organizations run there business better so they can apply more funds directly to their mission.
I currently teach workshops on how to make virtual work teams more effective, and have facilitated large “Open Space Technology” meetings. I am committed to preserving the environment through sustainable business practices and so I am keenly interested in joining organizations striving to engage communities in community based collaboration to improve the public’s understanding of environmental conservation, social justice, local economies, and consumer education.
