About
I have started an organization in the region of the South of Jalisco, Mexico, to research and implement projects related to sustainable development and to provide education and training in this area, especially around the leadership, educational and social skills needed for sustainable development.
I am English, and have been living in Mexico for four years now, working first as a 'Guest Professor' at the University of Guadalajara at their regional campus in Ciudad Guzmán, and then at the National Institute for Public Health in Cuernavaca. I returned to the South of Jalisco to set up my own organization in October 2007.
I am interested in initiating, complementing and supporting work that is already been done in this area by helping start new projects and find resources for them in the form of funds and volunteers.
I have worked in leadership and organizational development for many years, and since becoming interested in sustainable development about 15 years ago, have been looking for ways to integrate the work I have done in leadership and organizational development for many diffenet kinds of organizations, with sustainable development. This has led me to set up my own organization called 'Granitos de Arena' in the South of Jalisco, based in Ciudad Guzmán (about one and a hour south of Guadalajara)
