Hey Nico, just responding to your nvite to joint the solar gig in Us - it loks awesome and i will keep tabs on what you guys are doing. Im based in the uk - ive just moved from London (which is now very hard to live in and feels very fragile) to a radical community in Sommerset (near Glastonbury and Stonehenge) - which feels very enlightened and Robust.
We are one of the orginal transitions towns - Totnes being the first. This is a town of 30,000 which is preparing for life without oil and last night we met to agree to start printing our own money!
The world is starting to respond creatively to the problems we face and it really makes me feel so glad. Im reading The Upside of Down by Homer Dixon - if its not on your radar yet have a butchers (Cockney rhyming slang - Butchers hook - look).
Im in the process of launching a very ambitious project - when it is a little clearer i will keep you and other members of greenwash in Da loop as i feel sure that global conectivity is the way thru.

Hey Nico, i think my uncle works right there at the Institute, and i'm betting you probably know him pretty well. Does the name Erik Frye ring a bell?
Either way, i'll be out there (and visiting the institute!) in less than a month, so i hope to see you soon.
