About

Bicycling is my background, my passion, the lense by which I see the world, my expertise, and my primary mission. (See: Bighk) But that's not to say I'm not interested in many other things! I currently serve as the board president of Florida Bicycle Association.

From a biological perspective, it might be useful to ask ourselves what kind of species we want to be. We were once a keystone species, actually improving habitat for other species. Then we became an agricultural plague species, destroying habitat of other species. Next we became a technological plague species, accelerating the destruction to an insane rate. We have the potential to become a technological keystone species, one that can restore much of what we've destroyed.
