Hello Group, I am part of an initiative for . The goal is to get a bill passed in Congress for the progarm. I have a group of the same name,"Energy Independence US Treasury Savings Bonds", where the topic is discussed. The bonds will be in categories of S-solar, W-wind, H-hydro, and C-COOP. Recommendation is for a civilian oversight committe as well as transparancy of fiscal matters and available history of projects to all citizens. The bonds will be sold in increments of $25 same as traditional bonds and similar to the war bond program of World War II. Connection between the federal level and the local level will be accomplished through grants using the money from bonds for each project of which there are plenty proposed RE projects with several states within the USA. I am an Electronic Technician Chief in the Navy with 27 years service. I have been interested in Renewable Energy for years, USA energ policy, and diminishing oil reserves.
