Hi Michael,

I know when you view that which you quote from my previous comment may seem a bit abstract on the surface but I assure you it is not. First lets go back to that phrase I used from astronomy called isostatic reffering back to the general usage I noted in my below comment. Interject instead of the universe try the human mind set as a hole on an innate collective level where people feel comfortable and fimiliar with their lives as a result of how they were raised in terms of all the social codifiers such as religion, culture, morality, national citizenry including and right down to community and family husbandry and the like. It is the way that we humans affix and endear our preceptions of life and our relationship to the world around us within our very beings as a whole as a species. And like the passage of time I noted in the below comment as to have brought on changes as an irrevocable force beyond our capability to control so to in the isostatic model are changes seen some billion light years away where a new vantage point brings on new perspectives of thought about our existance and place there of in our universe. However we are a species that as a whole doesnot cater to change very well at all. We have a tendancy to view our human codifiers as some kind of infinite absolutes in the here and now regardless of what generation or time period we deal with.

What we do is instead of being willing to take the trip over to that other position a billion or so light years away to find out what is over there and to experience a new way of being to see wheather it could enhance the exsistance we already have we do nothing. We sit here motionless well we humans obey a natural law in chemistry called the zero n state where atoms always return or try to return to zero rest mass and we humans do the same (static in form and function when it comes to the systems we depend on for both our psycological and physical economic needs) unless of course there are such extremes that come upon the seen that have the capacity to distroy all of our innate codifiers such as the rise of the Nazi State in World War Two. Then comfort and complacency is over run and action follows suit.

At its core there are two lines of this static system form an function to deal with and indeed they both overlap. One - the innate linage line where social codifiers are viewed as a means to transend your lifes work and ideaology across time to and through your children by the beholding to such social codifiers and Two - the innate operational line where systems such as goverments are viewed as a means to transend you lifes work and ideaology across time to and through your children by the beholding to such systems. It is a natural think for parents to try to pass on to their children a better world and culture and I say now there is nothing at all wrong with that in fact we should have more of this on our world. The heart of the issue is just how we go about the process. Donot think that the last few sentances are some trivial thing. Even the Nazi Party in Germany during WWII supported by their people had a great vision in their hearts to pass down through many generations an eternal idea by way of an Arian Super Race that would last for a thousand years. Of course the way that they tryed to bring this about was monstrously vicious agains their fellow humans and I say this now as a warning to every one on the planet. At the beginning of WWII Germany had the most technically educated people in the world, they knew the mind, they knew machines and they were masters in utilizing the communications of their time. The Nationalist Party rose to prominance by the behest of the people with the promiss of better economic times. What the Nationalist Party did was do more than talk they made effective plans and took decisive actions solving the immediate economic woe's while at the same time casting a codified future for all the German citizens to see and understand. This was a very powerful thing and it was orchcstrated for full effectiveness at a time when they the German people saw no hope for their future the Nazi Party came along and gave them one. We, we upon this world, we who are seeing vertually every day new record highs on wall street and the markets in general simular to the later days of the 1920's before the great depression, we upon our world who are now seeing dwindling infrastructures and physical economic capabilities save China (the next super power in some twenty or so odd years and why because they have and are making effective plans and taking decisive actions), we who sit here all comfotable complacent with ourselves thinking ourselves immune somehow form something like what happened in Germany in the 1920's, 30's and 40's because we now have instant global communications just think it was because of those communication technologies only on a lesser scale that they the Nationalist Party were able to do what they did. If they had global communications oh my god we would have a very different world today than we know, it would not be kind at all let me tell you that.

So Michael this is a time where people are more and more feeling disenfranchised from the processes that govern their lives this brings on confusion and fear. Many people see their innate codifiers being scattered to the four winds it brings uncertainty and real fear. Hope is on the wane toward concrete futures everywhere across the globe more fear. At this time the World Economic Summit is meeting in Europe and as usual the people of the world have no seat at the table. Below Michael you speak of an envisioned mindshift happening. Frankly with the now global communications at hand and that the human condtion still being what it is we could well end up with something a kin to what the Nationalist Party had in mind for Germany. Only now it shall be a social malignancy on a planetary scale, god forbid. But damn Michael it is a reality out there that cannot be ignored and Paul is right we need people of all skills, trades and professional disciplines to be multiphased and multitasked together as to form a cohesive bond in a way not previously seen before across the human condition. And if there is one priority right now it is to use that communication media to start a mass of discussions on Global Governance or Planetary Development and outlay what they are and what they can indeed bcome and or do to enhance the human condition.

Michael I note you speak of a discussion out on the forums do you have any spcific forums in mind?

I hope I have at least to some degree answered the question that you have asked and that I didnot scare you off with that Nationalist Party scenario I layed out but I have a very real worry about the fact that there are peolpe all over the world that feel disenfranchized and see no real future for themselves or their children and so long as this is so it leaves open the opportunity for exploitation from people who have lets say very selfish motives on their mind. And I would much rather get ahead of the curve here on this before that can happen.

To all those out there that are looking toward Global Governance or other such systems like Planetary Development - Our Own know this. It will not nor ever will be a job for the faint of heart for you whosoever steps truly into this realm shall be fully upon and in the sites of not only the firing line of change upon our world but also within the sites of very real bullets as well. There are many many many people out there that are not going to want to see anything of the like or kind of a notion or idea of us getting it together upon this world in any collective fashion.

For anyone reading this I challenge you to test what I have just said in the above paragraph right in your own neigborhood by going down the block or up town and stop people your own fellow citizens and look into their faces and hear there comments as to what they say and how they act about the development of a system of World Governance or Planetary Development. I have done this people, I have gone to the Publix Markets, the Walmarts, Boarders Book Stores and the like and I'll tell yeah folks your in for a spiritual awakening on the subject from and I remind you, from your own fellow citizens here in the US. If you can't convince these people just how do suppose you are to convince those in South American Countries, Asia, Russia and the like. So you think this is going to be an easy job ahead do yeah, while I was trying to stop people to discuss the mater about it there were times all I would get would be looks from people as if to say why look here the poor fellow is in near psyciatric breakdown or others that suggested that I was some kind of left wing ratical pinco communist nut job that should never be allowed anywhere near a voting booth of any free and democratic nation. People don't see it or get at this point of time for the following reason and this is acorss the board and this is the primary maker or breaker point that must be successfully surmounted in order for Global Governance or Planetary Development to take root on our world.

What needs to be surmounted and over come is the base perochial or individual view point on compition itself which suggest that if we the collective were to organize in mass considering ouselves a single unit such as a one world economic system than in the majoity of those who are the present benifactors of todays economic system and your fellow citizens somehow see their position in the pie reduced thus leading to a weakining of their power and would be control over such things as putting more meat and potatoes on the table of their particular realm of influence. This influence is and always has been designated by the laws of the Nation States upon which they the multinationals either reside or do business and this has not changed since the days of the Compacts of centuries old the original multinationals. Somehow there is a disconnect when it comes to the kinds of other economic opportunities or procurement that can come as a result of diong things truly on a planetary level. And why, it bucks up against that perochial static view point still afixed in peoples minds about maintaining the present static and inelastic Nation State system which includes everyone from the multinationals beleive it or not right down to you fellow neigbors and citizens. Somehow people feel if these national boundries or territorial reagions become breached than they will lose their natioal heritage, ethnic or cultural integity. The fact is, is that all of these factors are transphasic and mutate over time regardless of who we humans may like to think we have control over all events including Global Governance and or Planetary Development. The one breach that is now beginning to overwhelm the system the most unto which there is vertually no control by any former methods is this infomation technology like this Wiseearth website. Just compare and contrast the present time with say the times of two hundred or five hundred years ago ask youself were we the collective back in those times able to maintain system integrity and hold things as they were from those times until now the present, of course not. So what needs to be surmounted at its core is the static view point of system form and function affixed within the minds of people at any one point of time. In astronomy some years ago there was a proposal of what became known as the isostatic model of the universe where at any one location depending where you are in the universe everything looked the same but if you were to change your position some billions of light years away things would look very much different in terms of density and the like. This view point was to help alleviate the problems seen with the steady state model at the time but I have found it to be a useful way to express just how humans tend to think in terms of their mind frames or deal different time scales. This isostatic mind frame of human thought is perhaps the primary element that needs to be surmounted if we are to have a successful transition into an planetary civilization.
