Gently radical television: using television to connect people globally. Living Earth Television, the organization I founded and direct, finds, translates and broadcasts television documentaries produced by and about local people in communities worldwide. LETV is a nonprofit organization based near Chicago. (www. LETV.org) I am an anthropologist who has worked with intercultural documentary for several decades, and after the frustration of seeing phenomenal films and videos at festivals worldwide, decided to do something about getting these programs to a wider audience.
