About
I founded "Artsboretum: A Vehicle for Change," an environmentally focused, music centric non profit organization. Our title stems from the recognition that music is "a vehicle for change" in a child's life and in our world. By supporting non-profit music education and performance based organizations, enabling them to serve more low income and at risk youth, our goal is to channel their energy in a positive direction. This will both improve the life of each child and the quality of life in their community. The environmental aspect comes from the fact that vehicles in our programs will all eventually use "plant based" and alternative fuels, therefore, each will be "a vehicle for change" in how we affect our environment. By using environmentally responsible transportation, we aim to decrease our carbon footprint while simultaneously increasing awareness of green business opportunities, driving social change in the communities we serve.
