About
I received my bachelor's degree in biology from UCSC in 1999. I completed the Natural Gourmet culinary school in NYC in December 06, a predominantly vegetarian cooking school that emphasizes health supportive cooking. I followed that up with a lovely one month intership working with Jessica Prentice at Three Stone Hearth in Berkeley, CA (www.threestonehearth.com). I am currently in a 1 year administrative internship at The Occidental Arts and Ecology Center (www.oaec.org), a non-profit and intentional community that models sustainable living and offers education, demonstration, research and organizing to develop collaborative, community-based strategies for positive social change and effective environmental stewardship. I'm looking for part time work that supports my continued growth in the fields of sustainablity and environmental conservation.
I'm
just seeking out a path that is in alignment with my heart. I am moved to
heal this planet as best as I can, because she is my mother and my
first love. I am sustained by the friendship of many, by fun and play,
by creativity and expression and by faith.
