About
I love people and wilderness, particularly the people and wilderness of Siberia and the Russian Far East. On any given day, whatever I'm doing, I'd probably rather be outside. My favorite places on earth? Kamchatka, Lake Baikal, the Altai, and yes, Lake Michigan.
I am currently working, not surprisingly, as the Russia Program Director at Pacific Environment. The road is exhausting and challenging, but marked by beautiful friendships, unforgetable wilderness experiences, and inspiring conservation victories.
