About

I received the Permaculture Design Certification from Cascadia Permaculture Institute in 2008. I am an aspiring Permaculture teacher who still has much to learn. I am very interested in everything Permaculture, which in essence, is everything.

My Permaculture passions are no-waste systems, and water catchment and conservation. I was first turned on to Permaculture (the word) in August of 2008 while spending time in the Ecovillage Training Center in Summertown, Tennessee with the well-known writer and environmental icon Albert Bates along with his team of amazing colleagues and coworkers.

I spent 3 months in Costa Rica designing a Permaculture based Health Farm. My experience in the rainforest was incredible. I was not too happy with the cattle industry there.

I wear mismatched earrings and music rocks my socks... that's why I walk around barefoot.

I am looking for conscious people who are being the change they wish to see. I'll willing to talk with you, share with you, and grow with you.

I have recently read most of Paul Stamets work and am convinced that mushrooms can help restore habitats, clean watersheds and water systems, as well as cleanse chemically and petroleum polluted landscapes. I would like to start a movement utilizing mushrooms to help clean and restore the Chesapeake Bay and its waterways.

I currently work at a semi-socially conscious restaurant that donates a large portion of its baked goods to charities (though more could be done), serves antiobotic free chicken and organic yogurt. Our strawberries and blueberries still come from California (:
