About
I am a McDonnell International Scholars Academy Scholar pursuing a dual masters in business and social work at Washington University in St. Louis. I am originally from Bangkok, Thailand, which was where I acquired my BA in Political Science, International Relations from Chulalongkorn University.
My interest is in the intersection of business, politics, social development and sustainability. This drove me to venture in to a social business start up: Silk- Garden, that is still in its conception. Our product offering is hand crafted paper from Thailand. The mission of Silk-Garden is to create a sustainable business that offers quality products fulfilling emotional needs to our customers in gift-giving while working to develop the communities in which are our producers in a sustainable manner that does not harm the environment but ensures higher quality of life especially in economic independence, education and healthcare.
