About
I am spearheading an initiative in Cotati based on the successful Transition Town model that is spreading rapidly throughout the UK and beyond.
We in this initiative will seek broad community involvement to face the challenges presented by peak oil and climate change. As Richard Heinberg points out, it is not a matter of whether we will get to a more sustainable lifestyle, but how. If we do little or nothing, we may be headed for a dramatic crash, whereas if we start planning and making changes now, we can have a softer transition in lifestyle.
Really, these challenges present tremendous opportunities to live a more conscious, connected, vibrant, and meaningful life.

Hi Judith: Thank you for joining Transition Cascadia. I happened to look at the Peak Oil Primer on your website and it took me to someone here. Perhaps some of these networks are beginning to connect as we are also getting inquiries from all over.
I'll welcome you on the Cascadia site and thank you for joining.
