About

Note:  We live in both Seattle and in Hawaii (Hawi, North Kohala on the Big Island of Hawaii - see http://KohalaSanctuary.com

The spirit of my/our work is captured in the following quote:

“Without a global revolution in the sphere of human consciousness, nothing will change for the better in the sphere of our being as humans,

and the catastrophe towards which this world is headed - be it ecological, social, demographic or a general breakdown of civilization - will be unavoidable. . . The salvation of this human world lies nowhere else than in the human heart, in the human power to reflect, in human

meekness and in human responsibility.”~~ Vaclav Havel, President of the Czech Republic in his historic address to the U.S. Congress.

My life-work spans many disciplines and wisdom traditions.
We work in organizations around the globe - and also reside in a small rural community on the northern tip of the Island of Hawaii where we steward a small organic permaculture farm and gathering place in the Aloha Spirit.

A common theme in our organizational/community work - and in our work on the farm - is that I/we are devoted to,
"Raising consciousness."  We are very involved with work around the globe related to Collective Wisdom, Collective Intelligence, and Contemplative Education.  Currently we are also working quite a bit in Thailand with initiatives related to Contemplative Education and Transformational Learning and Peace Studies.

When we seek for connection
we restore the world to wholeness.
Our seemingly separate lives become meaningful
as we discover how truly necessary we are to each other.
