About
I am a sustainability consultant, ecological educator, and permaculture practitioner, currently working with multiple residential clients to increase self-reliance and strengthen community connections. Other recent projects include working with John Todd Ecological Design, Inc on a prototype Eco-machine to degrade Crude Oil as well as Green Man Landscaping in Durango, CO to blend permaculture into the businesses operations. I was an Intern at the Solar Living Institute in 2002 and since then graduated from Humboldt State University (HSU) with an Interdisciplinary BS in Indigenous Technology. At HSU I did extensive work with the United Indian Health Services’ Potawot Health Village and the Campus Center for Appropriate Technology (CCAT), including helping to transition the program to a new site and designing and facilitating courses on green design, ecological restoration, and the Lost Arts of Living. I am a Certified Permaculture Design Consultant, and have received professional training in Teaching Permaculture, Mycorestoration, Keyline Design for Broad-Acre Landscape Development and Management, Design for Sustainable Community, Energy Auditing, and many forms of Natural and Conventional Building. Having traveled and worked on sustainability projects around the US, I bring a depth of experience, creativity, and insight to my work and practice.
