About
Born 35 years ago, Emmanuel Ande Ivorgba attended Nigeria's University of Benin and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi and earned both Bachelors in Computer Science and Masters Degree in Information Technology. For 10 years, He was at different times Vice Principal at Bauchi Urban College, Victory International College and then Principal at Dominion Heritage Academy, all in Nigeria, and presently serves on the boards of several Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), including Teachers Without Borders-Nigeria, Director with the Safe Water for Africa Community Initiative, participant at the National Consultative Forum on Religious Liberty in Nigeria, National Coordinator of the Nigeria Interfaith Youth Forum, Nigeria Coordinator for Project Happiness and International Ethics Study Circle Coordinator for The Dalai Lama Foundation, among many others.
In March 2007, Emmanuel visited India with Project Happiness and The Dalai Lama Foundation and had an audience with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and also met with several other great personalities. He was so inspired by that trip that, upon his return to Nigeria, he started Creative Minds International Academy (www.creativemindsacademy.net) in Jos, with the support of friends, to help young Nigerians to discover and develop their inherent gifts, talents and abilities, and to help raise ethically responsible, self-disciplined and creative social citizens capable of participation in a positive and sustainable society. Emmanuel also founded New Era Educational and Charitable Support Initiative (www.needcsi.org), a non-governmental, non-religious, non-political, non-ethnic, non-profit and charitable educational support organization dedicated to supporting the educational goals and aspirations of the less privileged Nigerian children. This Organization is registered with the Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission with Registration Number CAC/IT/NO 24571 and is empowered to work throughout Nigeria in fulfilling its vision and mandate. Emmanuel also started the Values in African Thought Program and is currently developing its curriculum. In May 2008, Emmanuel was honored in Abuja, Nigeria with the Award of the United Nations Millennium Development Ambassador by the Africa Regional Chapter of Teachers Without Borders.
Emmanuel has written and published several articles, including “The Impact of HIV/AIDS on National Development” and “The Role of Private Educational Institutions in Contemporary Nigeria”, which appeared in the INSIDE NIGERIA MAGAZINE in 2005. He also presented a paper titled “Christian Religious Education for a Culture of Peace in Nigeria” at the April 2006 National Days of Interfaith Youth Program in Nigeria. Emmanuel is currently writing two books titled “The Art of Living” and “How to be Truly Happy Now and Forever”.

"May I become at all times, both now and forever, a Protector for those without protection, a Guide for those who lost their way, a Ship for those with oceans to cross, a Bridge for those with rivers to cross, a Sanctuary for those in danger, a Lamp for those without light, a Place of refuge for those who lack shelter and a Servant to all in need"
