I'm currently the program assistant at the Center for Law and Renewal, which is housed and funded by the Fetzer Institute in Kalamazoo, MI. My supervisor and I are the sole employees of this tiny non-profit that takes the Institute's mission of spreading the power of love and forgiveness and applies it to the field of the law. My personal interests lie in the intersection between science and spirituality as a discipline through which to understand the transformative effects of religious practices that lead towards greater awareness. I live in a cooperative with Kalamazoo Collective Housing and lead a young adult Unitarian Universalist group at Western Michigan University. This coming fall I'm moving to Berkeley to study Unitarian Universalist ministry. I aspire to be a minister who emphasizes the practice of ecologically conscious living, social justice as well as contemplation and artistic expression. But for now, I'm finding my way at the place at which I am.
