About

February, 2008

I learned about this site through the Pachamama Alliance.  A video of Paul Hawkin is a part of the Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium begun by the Alliance of which my husband and I are facilitators.  We just went through the training to lead the Symposiums.  We are busy getting up to speed with the information.

I guide a Sufi group in Boulder.  It is a group that originated in Istanbul and is more gender balanced here in the states, with women leading many of the circles.  It is called the Nur Ashki Jerrahi Sufi Order and meets weekly on Thursday nights.  it is open to any lovers of Love who might be interested.

I am also currently writing a weekly attunement to the seasons using the astrological information from the Solstice and Equinox birth moments and one of Brian Swimme's Powers of the Universe each week as a behind the scenes focus.  The result  is called Embracing A New Planetary Consciousness.  I just began with this past winter Solstice and am sending it out to a group of friends and acquaintances on a subscription basis.  It is fun!

My husband, Kabir, teaches Indian Devotional and Raga Singing at Naropa University and has private voice and flute students learning the music of India, both classical and kirtan chant.  He has a CD set available produced by Sounds True.  He is an avid collector of wild mushrooms.  Together we have been exploring the new cosmology taught by Brian Swimme, Thomas Berry and Miriam McGillis.

We are part of a community gardening club, sharing our knowledge and energy to begin to create a local source of food plus some good connections in the neighborhood.  Just ordered biodynamic preps for the garden!  Looking forward to spring!
