About
Hello, I am a Civil Engineer (licensed P.E. in California), living in Oakland, CA. I am an environmental professional with experience in civil and environmental engineering, permaculture, green building and sustainable energy. I am involved in design and installation of green infrastructure projects including greywater and rainwater catchment systems, bioswales, rain gardens, living roofs and floating treatment wetlands. I am an American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association Accredited Professional (ARCSA-AP).
I am working with Hyphae Design Laboratory in Oakland, CA and I am interested in bringing in new projects. I am also looking for applications to utilize BioHaven Floating Islands for improving water quality both in natural and process environments, for creating floating wildlife platforms, and for wave attenuation and bank stabilization.

Wow, you live so close and have so much to contribute to the Transition movement. Noted your wiki page on our Transition Mill Valley initiating group page.... would love to communicate more directly. Do you give talks? Are you aware of the current MMWD desalination plant brouhaha? We are really interested (Transition Mill Valley and Transition Towns Marin) in connecting with resources for taking permaculture courses, rainwater harvesting .... are you involved with transition in the east bay?

Hi Eric--I'm still figuring out how to use this website to communicate--hope this reaches you. Have you had any luck in recruiting interest for a table at the Water Conservation Showcase? Maybe this year we should just get as many people as possible to attend to learn what's out there, and hope to have a critical mass for a booth next year?
Sonia
