About
Being an innovator I have formulated some major inventions but the para-scientific studies project and the venture combining explorative development and various creative services which would operate as an intentional community, these are the key social designs which involve the most refreshing evolutioinary potential . So my formulations involve tangible products, processes or functions and also social or psycho-dynamic innovations.
My personal perceptive fountain comes from a blend of science, the politics of consciousness, an appreciation of the transcendent and mystical and a leaning toward the wholesome and natural in health, healing and vitality. And this is not a recent composite for me. Science is exceptionally useful but also incomplete in its perspective in a way that disables it in optimum service to some ultimate subjects.
My life includes an enjoyment of solitary creative and learning time as well as an attraction to ultimately vital teamwork and communion. Amazing options lie ahead of us and yet the coming times will be strangely difficult if not confounding. My belief is that in spite of the fact that enlightenment would be considered an ideal it tends to create a much greater personal challenge involving issues of social affinity, allignment and overall responsibility. However, having adapted to the grandeur of a wider perspective and deeper understanding of things I prefer the view from here anyway. In fact I remain a glutton for relevant data.
It is a shared need for both an exceptional wisdom and also some vital cooperative activity that sometimes provides the impetus for the formation of selective societies of unique affinity. The cultural mainstream may label such societies 'secret' but all this is part of the normal social process for homo sapiens. And now it seems fresh global pressures stimulate even more in some of us a need for intrinsic transformation to new levels of value. Wiser Earth seems a potentially lovely nexus for fomenting fresh social value. We shall see.

Hi Henry, Thanks for the message. Yes, we're still moving forward with the film. You can see some clips at www.thegreatturningfilm.org, and there will be more there when we are able to improve our site a bit. We just filmed an interview with Dave Courchene, an Anishnabe elder in Manitoba, who spoke (among other things) about Native prophecy about these times. It was quite an experience! We're looking for the next $50,000 or so now so we can keep the momentum going. Any ideas would be most appreciated! I was out in the Bay Area about three weeks ago and had a nice dinner with Joanna Macy. Would love to talk some more and perhaps connect next visit. Many thanks. |
