About
As the Development Manager at a CT environmental education center (Earthplace ), I have created and managed a multi-day Green Earth Fair. It is an effort to highlight green products and services that make a transition to green living possible. The inaugural event was a success (1300 visitors)- the 2nd annual will be even better.
As a citizen, parent and consumer I am very concerned about the path we are all taking. Sure there are encouraging signs such as the "greening" of corporate America - a "good" thing even though it is motivated by the mighty dollar rather than an environmental ethic. But at the same time we have environmental destruction continuing, a war that seems to be expanding its scope and borders and social injustices that continue.
I have served on various Boards and Committees. Currently serve as a member of a local town's Green Energy Task Force.
I am a peace-nik (Peace Garden blog). I am a tree-hugger. I am a dreamer. Things will get better if we all try. Things will be better if we all just start with simple changes/simple steps.
