About

Every day, I am humbled by the forces of the universe and by nature's beauty. In the vast and colorful palette of life experiences, I feel honored to be alive. I enjoy being of service to world improvement and I currently focus my energies on inspiring and supporting others in creating a future where all human beings can live with dignity, having all their basic needs met and rights respected.

I have been professionally acting as a catalyst for educational experiences and organizational development by using my skills in project management, grantwriting, event facilitation, and international tour coordination. My special interests are concentrated in the field of leadership development for the promotion of social equity, more specifically popular education, ecology-based programs, service-learning, public policy advocacy and the uniquenesses of women as leaders.

My background includes more than 15 years of national and international experience in the areas of marketing, adult education, and organizational development. I have been dedicated to the GrassrootsLeadership Network of Marin for the last 6 years and I currently serve the organization as the Associate Director. I am also writing a book on feminine leadership, leading educational socio-political tours to Brazil, and serving on the Board of Director of the Marin Institute.

I enjoy many other things, especially ice cream, outdoor activities, Yoga, Capoeira, Belly-Dancing, and playing  the flute. I especially love my native country, Brazil!

Isn't it interesting that you and I are alive at the same time? Maybe it is not only a coincidence.

I hope you are having a life full of life!

Namaste! Axé!

* * * * *

Namaste!
