Economic Analyst with Ecotrust, Portland, Oregon, August 2007 to present. Economic analysis and reporting for the Fisheries, Forestry, and Food & Farm program areas.
Dissertation research, documenting society’s value of riparian areas in the Southwestern US, 2004-2007. Case Study 1: Recreational use value study of Aravaipa Creek, AZ, a perennial stream in the Sonoran Desert, using a travel cost model. Case Study 2: Survey research for use and non-use values for restoration of the Rio Grande corridor in Albuquerque, NM, using a choice experiment and contingent valuation. These original results are combined with other published valuation results into a Riparian Value Dynamic Simulation Model contextualized in the Middle Rio Grande Basin, NM, linked with other regional modeling efforts.
