I’m a semi-retired theater set and lighting designer, now living in a wonderful little village in south western New Mexico. I felt the need to become more politically active by writing letters to our local paper about issues that have had little or no exposure in the main-stream media like our militarie's use of Depleted Uranium Munitions. When a large developer filed an application to drill 37 water wells into our aquifer and suck 17.5 Billion gallons of water a year to pipe down to the Rio Grande to sell to Texas, I hit the roof! Greed has skewed our entire economic, governmental and labor systems. I need a site to discuss real solutions to these local, national and global issues.
