About
Denise Wilson is a member of the Orchid Specialists Group with the IUCN, and is on the Board of Directors for the Boulder Orchid Society and the Colorado Native Plant Society. Her 2007 summer field work included collecting seed for the Millenium Seed Bank Project contracted by Chicago Botanic Gardens, as well as a pollination study on the stream orchid in Colorado, Epipactis gigantea. She is working on her Masters in Biology through the University of Colorado. In July and August, she participated on an orchid diversity canopy study in Amazonian Peru.
