About

Initiatives and projects from 2008 to the future:

1) Contributing Editor, Publicist & Marketing Director - The Tactics of Hope: How Social Entrepreneurs Are Changing Our World (Author Wilford Welch, Forward by Arcbishop Desmond Tutu) highlighs the evocative stories of 27 social entrepreneurs from around the world who are focused on the restoration of a sustainable planet and the alleviation of extreme poverty. The Tactics of Hope encourages every individual to take part in world-changing, and for each of us to see actionable opportunities where others see barriers, while awakening to the notion that we are a part of the fastest-growing grassroots movement in human history.  This book is both a celebration of the individual successes of today and a guide for what is possible tomorrow. Advanced copies to be realeased at Oxford for the Skoll World Forum for Social Entrepeneurship in March 2008...

2) Content Director - www.globalsocialentrepreneur.org (aka www.tacticsofhope.org), the companion website to the book, an easy to use revolutionary open source wiki based platform through which individuals around the world may engage and explore their passions, financial resources, schedule, and desire to work with and become social entrepreneurs. Linkages and syndergies with WiserEarth abound!

The mosaic will then have an output circle for results, matching you visually to those who most directly share your expressed needs and interests. Please visit www.globalsocialentrepreneur.org for more. Site will be launched: February 15, 2008.
This is the black and white version of the color mosaic through which individuals links up to one another based on shared interests. Mosaic is driven by a circle model, with an intuitive color scheme, and users drag in options from around border into their circle based on an algorithm: closer the drag and release to inner circle, the higher the relevance. Circle is divided into 4 quadrants for users to fill out, moving clockwise from upper left: 1) What am I passionate about?  2) Where do I want to get involved?  3) How do I want to engage? and 4) Who am I?

SEE BELOW FOR PARTNERSHIP WITH OLPC XO LAPTOPS IN LATIN AMERICA....WE ARE LOOKING FOR PROGRAMMERS AND GRASSROOTS PARTNERSHIP ORGANIZATIONS.

2) Content and Partnerships Director - Borderless Educations (BE), an incentive-based education provider seeking to promote socially responsible companies and nonprofits to students who may engage in issues that students often don't receive in the classroom. Ask about our partnership with the One Laptop Per Child Initiative. Do you have an interest in uploading content about your business or nonprofit to 300,000+ children through the XO laptops to be distributed in the spring of 2008 to Latin America (Peru and Uruguay)? Contact me ASAP for questions and inquiries.

3) Director of Youth Program - Quest for Global Healing, Hawaii, July 2009. There have been 2 previous Quest for Global Healing gatherings in Bali, Indonesia, and the 3rd will be held on the main island in Hawaii in July of 2009, linking indigenous voice and wisdom-keepers of the natural world to the modern interests of the business world, encouraging members of the latter to listen and engage members of the former. Those who have lived in harmony with the natural world have much to say and teach a global audience about how to live and lead more sustainable lives.
