Dana Ishaq Fathi Rassas is a student at the Jacob Blaustein Institute for Desert Research, an institute established in 1974 to carry out basic and applied research in Desert Science. Her research is investigating the environmental impact of seawater desalination on agriculture. Dana is dedicated to seeking environmental justice through cooperation and research, analysis of problems, and involving citizens in the creative process to seek possible solutions. She is also dedicated to working with women, and empowering them to make change.
