About
I am an activist whose activism has mutated from social contributions through special needs community care, to democratic in-party insurgency, to volunteer health food and bicycle contributions, to international alternative online writing combined with bicycle touring, to parenting, and ultimately landed in fair trade.
I am currently volunteering at a fair trade cocoa growers' cooperative called COCABO in Panama. I provide some technical computing assistance, do research online for the coop, and work in the cocoa plantations to learn from all levels of the organization.
Please excuse the name, Cycloamerica is the handle of the Pan-American Social Cycling Initiative. My initial configuration of this account was somewhat erroneous on that item due to a slight lack of understanding. It seems this can't be undone.

Thank you for your interest in Northwest Citizens for Responsible Growth. We are located in St. Albans, Vermont, where we are actively campaigning against a 160,000-square-ft. Walmart that is proposed for a cornfield on the edge of town. We are about to have our appeal of the Act 250 permit heard in Environmental Court and are struggling with fund-raising to support our legal team through this challenging phase.
All the best,

Francis,
We often get caught up in our day-to-day activities and forget the big picture. Thanks for information on the 2009 World Trade Day.
Best regards, Patricia Laverley |
